Through one performance at a time, we seek to inspire others to see what is possible.
Break dancing (Breaking) is one of the most under-appreciated dances. With its quickness and complex moves, it is among the hardest dances to master. Developed around 1974/1975 from kids in the Bronx, break dancing was a positive way to get people off of the streets and do something amazing. Breaking is a form of expression that embraces individuality and being different. It is one of the four key elements of hip hop (Rap [Emcee], DJ, Graffiti, Break Dancing), and is an important part of urban culture still to this day.
