Kids ages 4 and up can drop in for a 45 or 90 minute session to make to their heart's content with the gentle guidance of artist Peggy Leder. A variety of mediums and materials will be available to choose from including a selection of paints, local yarns, eco-glitter, botanicals. Children can come in with a project in mind or work with Peggy to come up with an idea uniquely their own. Freestyle making is also ecouraged!

Each session is standalone but children can store projects at the shop if they want to continue the following week.
Those who book 45 mins can arrive anytime between 3:30-4:15. If you book 90 minutes, please try to arrive by 3:30 to enjoy the full time as clean up starts at 5.

Peggy Leder is a registered clinical art therapist and art teacher, holding her Master’s degree from CW Post, LI University and her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont.  She’s had her private practice and has been teaching art to children for over 20 years and is available for children’s birthday parties.  Peggy is the “child whisperer”.  Her nurturing and fun-loving demeanor allow the child to feel open and comfortable.  She is all about setting the student up for success and leaving feeling proud.
