Not your grandmother's patchwork, print-placement is back and bigger than it was in the 90s. If you are a 40-something year old mom or a 60-something grandma, you remember you or your daughter making these in high school and how much fun it was to see what your friends came up with.
A great way to explore fabric color, shape and texture, experiment with one of our vintage sweatshirts or use one of your own. Patches can be applied one at a time across a garment or in a concentrated geometric pattern.
Cut out hearts, circles, diamonds, initials, hexagons, birds or whatever your imagination can come up with.
Skill level can vary as the patches can be applied with fabric glue, hand stitched on with embroidery floss or thread or a more advanced patchworker can use a sewing machine.
